Lisa is a new crossword constructor who has found kind and patient crossword mentors. She chose the field of blood banking partly for the antibody panels, which look like crosswords. Inspired by her daughter’s science homework, Lisa created riddles about amino acids and blood clotting to teach her pathology residents. She and her husband have a delightful young son with epilepsy and developmental delays, and two wonderful daughters.
