Please note: This Privacy Policy (together with the terms of use of the SPYSCAPE site and any specific privacy wording notified to you, for example when you visit one of our venues) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to Us (as defined below), will be held and processed by Us.

Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with use of your personal data as set out in this Privacy Policy you should not submit your personal information to us. We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. The website available at www.spyscape.com (the Site) is owned by SPYSCAPE Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom (No. 10296562) whose registered office is situated at Third Floor, 95 The Promenade, Cheltenham, Glos, GL50 1HH and its group companies and affiliates who own and operate the SPYSCAPE concept, games, applications and venues worldwide (together, We/Us).

For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 and any successor legislation (the Act), the data controller is Cipher Corp Management Limited (UK company No. 10001328) of the same registered address, and part of the SPYSCAPE group of companies. Our data protection registration number is ZA201368.

2. Information we may collect from you

This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data that we hold about you, whatever its source.

We may collect and process the following data about you:

Information you give to us. You may give us information about you by filling in forms on our Site, including by applying for tickets to SPYSCAPE venues, purchasing goods, signing up for alerts, opening an account for shopping, forums or gaming, entering a competition or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise.

The information you give us may include your name, address, email address and any contact or other details you choose to share with us, including financial and credit card information where you are making a purchase, or personal description where you are setting up a personal account or forum ID (including details of any social media accounts you may use to log in to the Site).

Information we collect about you. With regard to each of your visits to the Site we may automatically collect the following information:

technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform;

information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from the Site (including date and time); products you viewed or searched for; page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks, and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page.

to ensure that content from the Site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.

We may contact you by email, telephone or post according to what contact details you have provided and any preferences you have indicated to us.

We may use this information:

advertisers and advertising networks that require the data to select and serve relevant adverts to you and others, but only on an aggregated basis

targeted marketing providers that use your name and email to build a profile of your interests that allows us to refine our marketing campaigns

in respect of your profile (and any other information you choose to share in this way), with other users of the Site or SPYSCAPE applications where you engage in interactive games or features on the Site;

if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply any agreement with you (including our Terms of Use (available here) or Terms of Purchase (available here)), or to protect our rights, property, or safety or those of any third party. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

If you opt to use a social media plug-in, for example to interact with us on Facebook or Twitter via the site or using a Google sign-in, please be aware you will be potentially sharing your information with a third party over whom we have no control.

6. Where we store your personal data

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our Site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

We may store your information via a customer relations management system or cloud-based provided outside the EEA, such as in the United States of America (USA). We shall ensure in such instance that your rights and freedoms as a data subject area appropriately respected and protected, including in terms of data security.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (EEA) that may not have the same level of protection as countries within the EEA. It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers or Spyscape venues (including that in New York, USA). Such staff maybe engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support or hospitality services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing outside the EEA. We will take all steps that we consider are reasonably necessary in the interests of your data being processed securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy when transferred outside the EEA.

7. Your rights

The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

We want to make sure that you are completely happy with the ways in which we hold and use your personal data. If at any time you wish to check, update or amend your personal data or preferences, please contact us where stated below.

8. Links

Any links on our Site may take you to third party sites, including social media and video platforms, over which we have no control. When linking to another website you should read the privacy policy stated on that website. This Privacy Policy does not cover the use of your personal data on any third party websites.
