Q Types has been experienced by over a million people across SPYSCAPE's London and New York venues. Here are the questions we hear most.
SPYSCAPE is a brain-teasing experience with challenges in risk tolerance, empathy, observation, pattern recognition and decision-making, developed with top spy trainers and psychologists to assign your individual Q Type profile.
SPYGAMES is a physical, pulse-racing experience that tests collaboration, agility, and communication through high-adrenaline missions, developed with CIA and Special Ops experts.
Both experiences are at the same venue in London and New York - SPYSCAPE is suitable from age 8 and SPYGAMES from age 6, and both can be booked together with an All Access ticket.
Yes. Each visitor's Q Type profile is entirely individual, reflecting their own choices, scores, skills and attributes across the challenges. No two profiles are the same - which makes comparing results with family members one of the most popular parts of the visit.
A Q Type is an individual profile based on multiple factors including empathy, risk tolerance, observation, pattern recognition, cognitive ability and decision-making style. The Q Type methodology was developed by Professor Adrian Furnham, a leading psychologist, and John Taylor, former Head of Training at British Intelligence (MI6). There are ten Q Types in total, each based on archetypes used by real intelligence agencies. Unlike traditional psychological profiles Q Types are based on both self-reported and observed results. Every family member receives their own individual profile - comparing results together is one of the most popular parts of a family visit.
Yes. If you require a carer or personal assistant to support your visit, they will receive a complimentary ticket when you purchase your own ticket. Please bring proof of eligibility when you arrive.
The minimum age for SPYSCAPE is 8 years old. Children under 8 may find the challenges difficult to complete. There is no upper age limit - the experience works well for mixed-age groups including grandparents, parents and children visiting together.
Yes. Lockers are available free of charge at both venues on a first-come, first-served basis. All bags and backpacks must be stored before entering the experience. Lockers measure 12" x 20" x 24".
Yes. For family groups, tickets can be booked directly at spyscape.com. For unique group bookings please contact hellonyc@spyscape.com for New York or helloldn@spyscape.com for London to discuss group options and pricing.
Please check the tickets page at spyscape.com for current pricing and any available concessions for your visit, as these may vary by location.
Yes. The All Access ticket combines both experiences. You start with 50 minutes at SPYGAMES followed by the full SPYSCAPE experience - 90 minutes in New York or 60 minutes in London. Allow at least 2 hours in total. Note that SPYGAMES involves physical activity including jumping, climbing and crawling, so consider suitability for younger or less mobile family members.
A SPYSCAPE visit typically takes around 90 minutes in New York and 60 minutes in London. If you add SPYGAMES with an All Access ticket, allow at least 2 hours in total. Last entry is 90 minutes before closing in New York and 60 minutes before closing in London.
Yes. SPYSCAPE blends real espionage history with hands-on challenges that develop critical thinking, observation, problem-solving and communication skills. Children explore authentic spy artefacts and gadgets while completing missions designed by psychologists and former MI6 trainers. Each child receives their own Q Type profile - a personal assessment of their strengths and thinking style.
