Hackers

Hackers (1995) • PG-13

Rotten Tomatoes: 38%

IMDB: 6.2 / 10

A group of teenage hackers stumble across a virus being used for industrial-level embezzlement and are blamed for its creation. They team up with other hackers from around the world to try and clear their names and uncover the truth.

OUR TAKE: Hackers is a ridiculous film, both in terms of its highly inaccurate portrayal of hacking and its overblown Hollywood storyline. But it has style. It does a better job of capturing what it feels like to be a hacker than any other piece of cinema. We recommend you watch it and enjoy the ride, as silly as you’ll find it.
