The Q Type profile is based on principles used by human intelligence agencies, the gold standard in behavioral profiling. Each team member’s profile reflects their individual choices, scores, skills, and attributes, capturing observed behavior under pressure, not just self-reported answers.
Designed with MI6 trainers and top psychologists, our experiences replicate high-stakes decision-making and teamwork scenarios. Each challenge is structured to observe how participants truly perform under pressure, generating the live data that powers their Q Type profiles.
After your challenges, step into a self-led private debrief workshop. Review your Q Type profiles, learn how your team functions under pressure, and gain actionable insights - all while enjoying food and drinks. This is where the data from the challenges becomes actionable learning.
Book online now for teams of up to 30 or use our inquiry form for larger teams.

Each team navigates authentic tasks - from code-breaking to surveillance - to generate live behavioral data. Combined with our Mind Games interactives, the data feed directly into your Q Type, revealing your team’s true instincts, decision-making style, and performance under pressure.
Test your team in lie detection, problem-solving, and psychological profiling challenges. Every interaction and decision contributes to personal and team Q Type profiles, uncovering hidden strengths and dynamics.

Leave with practical strategies for immediate application - improved collaboration, enhanced communication, and stronger decision-making under pressure - all grounded in data from your live team experience. Know yourself, understand others.
Discover how your team actually works together. Your Q Type profiles highlight where strengths complement each other, where communication clashes, and how to deploy talent more effectively. Insights come directly from observed behavior in the challenges, not just self-assessments.

Q Types has been experienced by over a million people across SPYSCAPE's London and New York venues. Here are the questions we hear most.
SPYSCAPE is a brain-teasing experience with challenges in risk tolerance, empathy, observation, pattern recognition and decision-making, developed with top spy trainers and psychologists to assign your individual Q Type profile.
SPYGAMES is a physical, pulse-racing experience that tests collaboration, agility, and communication through high-adrenaline missions, developed with CIA and Special Ops experts. Both are available in London and New York.
SPYSCAPE also offers a team-building experience with the full Q Type profile system plus a debrief workshop with food and beverages in a private room.
Each team member receives a Q Type - an individual profile based on their observed performance in immersive challenges, not just self-reported answers. The profiles reveal how individuals make decisions under pressure, communicate, and lead. In the debrief workshop, comparing Q Types as a group highlights complementary strengths, communication styles, and potential friction points - giving teams actionable insight they can apply immediately.
A Q Type is an individual profile based on multiple factors including empathy, risk tolerance, observation, pattern recognition, cognitive ability and decision-making style. The Q Type methodology was developed by Professor Adrian Furnham, a leading psychologist, and John Taylor, former Head of Training at British Intelligence (MI6). There are ten Q Types in total, each based on archetypes used by real intelligence agencies. Unlike traditional psychological profiles Q Types are based on both self-reported and observed results. Each team member receives their own individual printed profile - 58 pages mapping their skills and potential.

Yes. Lockers are available free of charge at both the London and New York venues. All bags and backpacks must be stored before entering the experience. Lockers measure 12" x 20" x 24" - items too large to fit will not be permitted inside.
No. Team members can enter their own information when they arrive at SPYSCAPE.
Yes. The corporate Teams package includes a private debrief room with catering and drinks. For bespoke catering requirements or larger events, contact the team directly at hellonyc@spyscape.com (New York) or helloldn@spyscape.com (London).
The SPYSCAPE challenges are self-led and designed to be completed independently - this is intentional, as the experience is built to observe how participants naturally perform under pressure without external direction. A dedicated host is included with team and party packages to welcome your group and facilitate the debrief workshop with food and beverages.
A SPYSCAPE experience takes approximately 90 minutes in New York and 60 minutes in London. Team packages include an additional private debrief workshop with food and beverages, so allow around 2 hours in total. If you add SPYGAMES with an All Access ticket, allow at least 2.5 hours.
SPYSCAPE reveals how your team actually behaves under pressure - not how they think they do. The challenges observe real decision-making, communication patterns, and leadership instincts in live conditions. The resulting Q Types give each team member a personal profile, and the group debrief translates that into practical strategies for collaboration, communication, and deploying talent more effectively.
Yes. SPYSCAPE offers dedicated team building experiences in London and New York. Teams complete immersive challenges designed with MI6 trainers and leading psychologists, generating data that feeds into individual Q Type profiles. A private debrief workshop follows, where teams review their profiles and discuss insights over food and drinks.
YUnlike escape rooms, SPYSCAPE is not competitive and has no single pass/fail outcome. Each challenge is designed by psychologists and intelligence trainers to test how you think, respond, and lead. Each participant leaves with a detailed personal Q Type profile, and the debrief workshop translates group findings into actionable team insights. Unlike pure entertainment, SPYSCAPE provides actionable and measurable outputs.
