Tricia often has a hard time putting down a good puzzle to do mundane things like eat and sleep. Growing up, her mom used to solve the daily crossword in the newspaper. As her mom got older, she stopped doing the crossword because she was having a hard time with a lot of the pop culture and tech references (which don’t appear in her circa 1990 crossword puzzle dictionary). When Tricia came across an online crossword constructing site, she decided to try to make one for her mom. After creating a couple of puzzles for her mom, other potential crossword themes started swimming around in her head. Now she can’t help but try to make them fit in a grid.
