The Role

Our Brand Ambassadors are a vital link in our mission, ensuring our visitors have an unforgettable experience at SPYSCAPE HQ.  Working in the heart of New York City, Brand Ambassadors interact with people from around the world! Brand Ambassadors provide guidance and information to ensure an enjoyable, educational, and safe visit for all our guests across ticketing, experience, retail and cafe. Brand Ambassadors also support our special events and temporary experiences.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of an emerging global brand.  Ideal candidates are outgoing and proactive individuals willing to dive into a dynamic environment, happily taking on a variety of tasks as needed. The Brand Ambassador role is based in midtown Manhattan and reports to the Brand Ambassador Staff Coordinator, with daily supervision from the Manager on Duty.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a proud ambassador for the SPYSCAPE brand at all times
  • Provide a friendly, welcoming, high energy service to guests
  • Drive sales via proactive (but always respectful and appropriate) engagement and assistance 
  • Operate POS retail and ticketing systems, including cash transactions
  • Have a thorough knowledge of experiential content and retail merchandise
  • Work collaboratively with teammates to achieve established customer centric goals
  • Aid in maintaining overall cleanliness and a welcoming environment at SPYSCAPE HQ
  • Manage the operations of specific exhibits including queuing and crowd control
  • Monitor condition and safety of public spaces, paying close attention to the needs of visitors
  • Regularly test exhibits / experiences for functionality
  • Support special activities and programs, including setup and breakdown
  • Respond appropriately to guests with special needs, including in emergency situations 
  • Participate in execution of occasional off-site experiences and events as needed
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Bring Your Passion And Expertise To:

  • Extensive professional customer service experience
  • Knowledge of ticketing, CRM or POS systems preferred 
  • Thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work a variable schedule including most holidays and weekends
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs
  • Ability to be on your feet for long stretches of times

Terms and Conditions 

Competitive salary based on experience, employment contingent on obtaining a FDNY F-03 indoor place of assembly safety personnel COF within 90 days of hire.
