Secrets of a Silver Lion winner

The Silver Lion award for best film direction at the 77th Venice Film Festival was handed to Kiyoshi Kurosawa for Wife of a Spy. The film is a historical thriller set in wartime Japan. We found a fascinating article in Japan Forward about the film, its director and the decision of the Venice Film Festival to hold the festival during the pandemic.
