The trailer for Guy Ritchie’s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is out and Henry Cavill’s spy movie promises a wild ride with a sly, Ocean’s 11-style vibe.

An unconventional group of British WWII spies are told to throw away the rule book and neutralize the German U-Boats in the North Atlantic. “Hitler’s not playing by the rules so neither are we,” Winston Churchill tells his operatives.

Director/co-writer Guy Ritchie drew inspiration from the real-life Special Forces team that operated during WWII known as Churchill’s Special Operations Executive (SOE). They were tasked with ‘setting Europe ablaze’ to defeat the Nazis behind enemy lines.

The elite espionage group - which employed American Virginia Hall and Indian-British royal Noor Imrat Khan among others - used unconventional warfare tactics and ‘ungentlemanly’ fighting techniques including blowing up railroad tracks and bridges and stirring up resistance forces. They laid the groundwork for modern black ops teams.

Cavill is joined by a stellar cast including Alan Ritchson, Eiza González, Henry Golding, and Cary Elwes. The film, due out in April 2014, was described by Cavill as an unforgettable experience, with a joyful and exceptional atmosphere on set. The movie marks a reunion for Cavill and Ritchie, who previously collaborated on The Man from U.N.C.L.E. in 2015.
