The Role

The Visitor Services Associate is responsible for two critical roles that help provide our visitors with an unforgettable experience at SPYSCAPE. First, ensuring an enjoyable, educational, and safe visit for all our guests. Second, promoting SPYSCAPE as a whole including special events and exhibitions. 

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of an emerging global brand.  The ideal candidate will be willing to dive into a very dynamic working environment, taking on a variety of tasks wherever needed. Working in the heart of New York City, you will interact with people from around the world!

This role is based in midtown Manhattan and reports to the Visitor Services Manager, with daily supervision by Assistant Managers. 

Note: All Visitor Services Associates are contracted through Forrest Solutions.


  • Provide the highest  level of customer service to all visitors
  • Consistently present an eager, friendly, service-oriented demeanor
  • Ensure visitors  are well informed on all SPYSCAPE experiences
  • Operate POS ticketing systems
  • Maintain an accurate cash register throughout the day and successfully reconcile all on-site payments
  • Acts as an ambassador for SPYSCAPE at all times
  • Assist guests with entry and orientation to facility
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of exhibition content
  • Contribute to opening and closing of all public spaces
  • Facilitate the exploration of exhibits, and engage guests in conversations about exhibit content
  • Manage the operation of specific exhibits including queuing and crowd control
  • Monitor condition and safety of public spaces, paying particular attention to the needs of visitors
  • Ensure the high-quality presentation of public spaces: testing exhibits for functionality, ensuring appropriate appearance of assigned areas, monitoring cleanliness in corridors, etc.
  • Assist guests with emergency situations, as directed
  • Contribute to the execution of special activities and programs, including setup and breakdown
  • Respond appropriately to guests with special needs
  • Participate in delivery of off-site experiences as needed
  • Represent and promote the brand via events e.g. street marketing
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Bring Your Passion And Expertise:

  • Extensive professional customer service experience
  • Knowledge of ticketing, CRM or POS systems preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to interact well with a wide range of people and personalities of all levels within and outside SPYSCAPE
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs
  • Ability to be on your feet for long stretches of time
